The price follows the size of the window: twice the area, about twice the price. The options you choose move it up from there. Every price is shown as a range, and your quote confirms the exact figure once we’ve checked your measurements.

Questions about cost
Why is it a range and not one price?
Because the exact price depends on details we confirm when we check your measurements: the panel layout, whether an opening needs a frame, how a handle or crank is cleared. The range covers those. Your quote gives the exact figure before you pay anything.
Are California shutters expensive?
They cost more than blinds, because each one is a piece of joinery built to one opening. Fitting them yourself means you pay for the shutters, not for a sales visit and an installation. The tables on this page show what each size costs from us.
Do prices include installation?
No. Our shutters are made for you to fit, and the prices are for the shutters shipped to you. If you would rather hire someone, any finish carpenter or blinds installer can fit them; you arrange and pay them directly.
What makes one shutter cost more than another?
Size first, since price follows the area of the window. Then the options: a higher moulding level, a higher paint stage, 4½ in louvers, a custom stain or colour match, and a mounting frame each add to it. Arched windows cost more than rectangles of the same size; half-rounds, angled tops and circles are priced by hand.
