How motorized shutters work

A small motor inside the panel turns the louvers instead of your hand on the tilt rod. Nothing raises or lowers; the panels still swing open on their hinges like any shutter.

What we’re building

• Made to your measurements and fitted by you, like the rest of the range.
• A rechargeable battery, so there’s no wiring to run inside the wall.
• Control from a remote, a phone app or a schedule.
• The same app and remote as Shade Boys outdoor shades, so one schedule can run the patio screens and the shutters together.

We’ll publish the specification, the price and a release date once the product has passed its certification testing.
