Older door openings
70% of homes are decades old, and older door openings settle. Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom; a mounting frame gives the track a straight line to run on.
Afternoon sun
14 days a year reach 30 °C. Louvers tilted up block high sun while still letting you see out, which a curtain or vertical blind can't do.
Cold glass
A big glass door is the coldest surface in the room on a winter morning, and moisture condenses on it. Open the louvers on cold days so warm air reaches the glass, and wipe off any condensation before it reaches the wood.
