Condos and apartments
45% of homes are in multi-unit buildings, where the outside walls belong to the building. Exterior shutters usually aren't an option there; interior shutters are.
Winter outside
172 freezing nights a year mean ice and snow on anything mounted outside. Interior shutters stay out of the weather entirely and are adjusted from the room.
Aluminum inside the house
Most aluminum shutters sold today are made for outdoors. Our own aluminum interior shutters are coming in 2027, made for bathrooms and humid rooms, with a wood-look finish and the same moulding levels as our wood shutters. No price until launch.
