Winter outside
148 freezing nights a year mean ice and snow on anything mounted outside. Interior shutters stay out of the weather entirely and are adjusted from the room.
Condos and apartments
36% of homes are in multi-unit buildings, where the outside walls belong to the building. Exterior shutters usually aren't an option there; interior shutters are.
Aluminum inside the house
Most aluminum shutters sold today are made for outdoors. Our own aluminum interior shutters are coming in 2027, made for bathrooms and humid rooms, with a wood-look finish and the same moulding levels as our wood shutters. No price until launch.
Counting the openings in a Eau Claire home

The median Eau Claire home is valued at $247,600 by its owners. In La Crosse, 70 miles away, the median is $210,100, lower than here.
