Condensation in winter
With 136 freezing nights a year, condo glass gets cold. Open the louvers on cold days so warm air reaches the glass, and wipe the sill if moisture collects.
Renting
Shutters screw into the frame, so ask your landlord first. Taking them down later leaves only screw holes to fill.
Building rules
Most HOA and building rules are about what shows from outside: often white or off-white facing the glass. Check yours before ordering a colour, and book the elevator for delivery and install day.
