Afternoon sun
179 days a year reach 90°F. Louvers tilted up block high sun while still letting you see out, which a curtain or vertical blind can't do.
Balcony doors
With 49% of homes in multi-unit buildings, many patio doors here open onto a balcony. Bifold panels fold back in pairs and need little floor space; check what your HOA or building allows to show through the glass.
