This week I thought it would be good to talk about some really cool projects that we did recently along with being able to show you pictures of them installed. We had a customer who came in and bought his shutters because he was getting tired of having windows roll down while hanging out outside drinking beer in high heat. So he decided to get these beautiful shutters to block light and save energy during hot weather seasons. He wanted me to come install them and tell us why they purchased this particular style of window treatment.
So we went ahead and got this custom order going and started doing research on the products available. From talking to him I learned that he liked shutters but wasn’t interested in building a DIY project with no help or assistance from professionals.
After looking through several different manufacturers and styles I found exactly what he was after…the Calamondra Series which consists of 3 shades of white and blue vertical blinds made of wood fiber material similar to bamboo. These shutters are manufactured in America and shipped straight to the consumer without installing frames. They offer a nice modern design aesthetic, great quality materials used throughout, and are designed with ease of maintenance in mind. The bottom line for the client was “I just want something that looks clean and elegant”.
