11. Once closed, DO NOT touch the inside surface of the shutters. Touching will cause damage to the paint job and could lead to rust stains.
12. When closing the shutters make sure there is no gap left between the frame/trim and the shutter and that there is nothing blocking the opening.
13. After install check the trim around doorways and corners and remove anything obstructive. Also make sure doors fit well and that trim lines up properly.
14. Check the shutters periodically after being installed to see if any adjustments need to be made.
15. Once shutters are installed, test each corner of the shutters to ensure it fits snug and does not stick out past the window sill.
16. Test the operation of the hardware before leaving the job.
17. Always remember to clean up the work area once the project is complete.
