In case you missed this update in 2017 I thought I would bring back some updated numbers on how the DIY market was doing, specifically around motorization. As you recall, I did the same thing for Boston and Chicago in 2016. And then Boston got hit by Irma and Chicago received two feet of snow and both areas had massive increases. So, just like the past 3 years, we are seeing people take advantage of these incredible deals to purchase beautiful sliding windows for their home or condo and install them themselves. Installation Services – Installations should only take around 1 hour per side but often times end up taking less than that depending on complexity due to multiple factors including size, weight and placement of hardware and accessories in addition to framing issues and weather conditions.
