In this post, I will be talking about some tips and tricks regarding installing and selecting the perfect windows shutters for your home. My hope is that these few pointers could help those who would like to get started doing some serious research prior to ordering custom made shutters for their homes.
Before buying anything, including shutters or blinds, take note of the following points:
1. When choosing window coverings consider your style. Is it modern, transitional, classic/vintage? A good rule of thumb is to always go back through photos of your current house and identify which styles worked well before going ahead and buying something completely different from what you had originally planned for. If a friend recommends a certain type of shade for the same reason then chances are they may be thinking along similar lines. Ask yourself, “What does my ideal space say about me? Or better yet what doesn’t it say about me? And why am I making changes anyway?”
