I will then talk about the installation process of these beautiful products, and explain which ones are most suited to your home and lifestyle needs. So lets get started!!
California Shutter Types:
There are four main categories of window treatments on the market; Blinds, Shades, Curtains, and Window Treatments, and each category offers something unique and special! Each category has several subcategories based upon style, material, and function. Here’s a brief description of all the available options.
Blinds
Blinds are great for blocking light while allowing a certain amount of visibility through the window. They are typically used at night, but can work well during daytime hours as well. Blinds can either block light, allow light, both, or none depending upon the design. A common blind type is Roman shades, which offer a nice balance between privacy and light control. These shades are often used on windows facing east/west.
Curtains & Drapes
Curtains and drapes are similar in many ways. Both curtains and draperies offer privacy, but differ slightly in terms of functionality. Curtain panels usually hang vertically, whereas drapes tend to hang horizontally across multiple walls.
