Are there exposed pipes/ductwork below grade that needs protection? Some ductwork and wires are required to remain accessible (or else the house would be uninhabitable).
Is insulation already installed beneath exterior walls? Is there existing drywall above ground level? Insulation shouldn’t be necessary unless the home is older than 40 years old and built prior to 1978. At minimum the space between stud walls should allow for 1 inch of air movement to help keep moisture away from concrete walls that aren’t covered properly. We recommend adding fiberglass batting to fill those spaces in order to prevent mold growth. Also consider running continuous vapor barrier tape along foundation perimeter to provide additional waterproofing.
