Well, after reading your feedback on my previous book about wood doors and windows, I’m finally ready to publish something akin to this. So when do you need to get started installing some beautiful, durable, energy efficient shutters?! When is the optimal window/door season to put them up? Is spring preferable? Winter? Summer? All the answers to questions like this will be answered along the way. The main takeaway point from this book is that once you understand the basics and learn how to buy quality products at affordable prices, you’ll soon find yourself able to confidently navigate through various types of building codes. After all, it’s only natural that there are variations depending upon location. But ultimately, most people will end up having a fairly similar workflow regardless of state laws, regulations, etc..
