Their current house had old style aluminum framed windows which they wanted replaced with newer energy efficient vinyl clad double hung shutters. After seeing my customer photos he decided his clients would love something similar but larger scale and better fitting. My customers wants these beauties installed today. They chose to work with me because of my reputation as a professional installer with experience installing high end products and working closely with contractors and architects across Metroplex Texas. Since most homeowners use DIY window treatments like blinds with roller shades there isn’t really a need for someone who specializes specifically in this area. But having said that, sometimes you just get lucky. And I did…
I am going to be honest with you; I’m getting excited talking about this project. It’s a huge undertaking and involves a lot of preparation and coordination. I’ve been planning this job since July 2019 and everything started coming together. We made appointments with several different companies across the country until I found a company located near us that could handle a large commercial project. They were able to accommodate both my and our schedules, allowing us to come back mid June 2020, after the initial installation date, to ensure things went smoothly. Once it became apparent that we would only see each other once per quarter instead of twice, we began coordinating scheduling around holidays and summer vacations/holidays. One thing lead to another then eventually led me to finding this website. We’re starting with the front door first because it was a fairly straightforward project. Our builder put up the exterior frame for the existing screen doors while the house framing was under construction. We took advantage of having them already built and used those frames to attach the panels.
