There are some handy tips in case your blinds aren’t quite working out: If your blinds just seem really dark or heavy, consider going lighter weight materials or fabric. Or ask your hardware or builder retailer whether adding light bulbs would help brighten things up. Also, remember to always put tape around your bottom roller of each blind. When your rollers get old they begin to crack, allowing dust and dirt inside your house, along with insects. Finally, keep track of things and write notes down whenever possible since it makes life easier. Just use small post-its and stick them somewhere prominent. Keep them near the door where you leave your shoes, a place where you drop things, etc. Write little reminders on them like “clean countertops” or “clean floor”.
