4.- Tile Flooring — For houses built prior to 2010 or so (and almost no homes today), tile flooring makes sense because it was cheap back then and provides sound support under heavy loads. Modern tiles tend to be relatively high maintenance though. There’s something nice about having a bit of contrast going on between old traditional styles of tile and modern engineered versions like porcelain or travertine. Plus, if the contractor chooses wisely, it can blend beautifully with concrete walls or brickwork
5.- Steel Beams & Rail Fencing — While the benefits of steel beams and rail fencing aren’t immediately obvious to people considering non energy efficient options, their long life and ability to provide structural strength above anything else in a house quickly becomes apparent in areas prone to seismic activity.

“I recently had the wood shutters installed by Marco in my 2800 sq ft new built house. Its a corner lot, and there were 33 windows and a patio door to be dressed up by the wood shutters. The price was very competitive and the quality was superb. Marco and his team did a great job and the whole installation was completed in one afternoon.
