In this article i will tell you why i love shutters and what is different about them than other windows coverings. My background is mostly architectural design but i am still relatively inexperienced regarding home window treatments. So please bear with me while reading my first ever “How to install a Cali shutter” guide.

If you are unsure how to perform measurements use tape measures and try multiple locations around the perimeter of your house. Then take note of those numbers when buying your shutters. I love doing this project because I get to work with my husband who is a professional photographer, he’s always taking photos around town and then he likes to show me his latest shots. We really enjoy going through old photo albums together… but since they’re both digital, we use Photoshop and Lightroom to edit them together. So today, I’ll be sharing some tips on editing images together in photoshop. Enjoy!!
What I did first was go thru and delete duplicate photos. We had way too many duplicates and I only kept the most recent ones for the final print. Next, we deleted pictures with no text/people in them. Then I just started cleaning things up like removing blemish marks and people getting stuck together. Once we cleaned all that stuff up, I used clone stamp tool and replaced all of the blank space above the person with “us”. If you wanted something different than that, you could replace the entire image instead of trying to fill it in with new content. Here’s an example.
Then I went back into lightroom and selected layers with “all” checked under “layers”, hit control+e and dragged across multiple faces and just moved them down until everyone looked happy.
