I am a firm believer that every house should be beautiful inside & out. My wife and I had lived in a rental home for years with little investment in the exterior space, but once we bought our own home in 2017 we wanted something special outside. We knew we would spend lots of time outdoors during the summer months, spending quality family moments together, so we decided to invest in some great outdoor furniture. The entire project took around 5 days from order until completion which includes measurements, ordering, shipping and final delivery. The whole process was hassle free and extremely professional. The finished result looks stunning!! Our friends and neighbours complimented us constantly, saying how nice and clean our yard looked. 2. Can They Install My Own California Shutters?
We love working with our customers but sometimes people end up being “too far gone” or simply cannot afford it. This leaves us out in the cold because we are unable to service their needs. But luckily these situations only occur rarely due to our customer base. So yes most homeowners, condo owners, and property managers can install their own California Shutters themselves after consulting us first. A few things worth noting though….
3. Do They Have To Use Wood Framing For Custom Built Shutters?
When you purchase our doors and windows, you get everything required already installed into those frames. No additional framing or fastening tools are necessary.
4. Is California Shipping Required And Will They Be Backordered Once The Product Arrives At Their Doorstep?
Yes, California shipping is generally required for orders greater than $75.00 USD and we use USPS Priority Mail to ship our items. However due to weather delays or other unforeseen factors, some shipments could take longer than normal transit times. Unfortunately due to federal law, we currently do not allow backorders on any products on Amazon or eBay since the items must go through customs upon delivery and then once cleared, shipped again. Please contact us for detailed information about any product(s)/order inquiries regarding international shipment options including expedited/express methods. As per FEDERAL LAW, CANADA residents MUST pay any applicable CUSTOMS AND DUTY FEES associated with imported merchandise when arriving at the border. These fees vary depending on the type of goods, quantity and value. Import duties, taxes, brokerage costs, VAT, tariffs, regulatory charges and similar import obligations are NOT INCLUDED in the item price or shipping cost.

Wood shutters are still the most used style, but are quickly gaining popularity due to their high quality construction materials and ease of use.
Vinyl California Shutters offer many advantages including lower cost than wooden shutters, easier maintenance and installation, no need for weatherproofing and they are very durable. But vinyl shutters tend to be heavier than wooden shutters which will impact how well they fit in certain situations.
We recommend choosing either wood shutters OR vinyl shutters depending on your home needs and preferences. If you live somewhere cold like Canada or Alaska, then consider wood because it is less likely to warp or peel than vinyl. However, if you live in warmer climates consider vinyl since it is lighter weight and won’t take away from the curb appeal of your house.
