1. Wood & Vinyl Windows: As far as windows go vinyl seems a bit outdated these days. But if you live in a hot dry climate than vinyl is great because you won’t sweat inside. If you live somewhere cold or wet vinyl just isn’t going to cut it and if so than wooden window shutters may be better option. A lot depends on the quality though. For example some vinyl windows tend to be heavier/heavier/costlier than regular vinyl windows. Some newer more energy efficient versions of vinyl windows can cost less than those that aren’t. So you really need to research the type of windows you want to buy carefully.

However aluminum does rot and rust easily unless treated properly. We recommend painting them every 10 years.
3. Custom Shingle Products: This category includes any products designed specifically for the unique shape and size of individual customers houses. When you install vinyl shutters in your home they will last longer than wooden shutters but will be less expensive to purchase and install. They come in many colors and patterns and are available to match almost every color scheme and decorating style imaginable. Some homeowners prefer vinyl because it is easier to clean than wood shutters. However, some people find them unattractive and feel it makes the space seem dated.
Wood shutters offer a timeless, classic appearance that will always fit well with traditional homes and designs. Wooden shutters provide protection against moisture damage and pests.
