There was a great deal of research that went behind this project. For starters, I wanted to talk about some of the most popular window treatments used in the bay area today such as vinyl roller shades, Roman blinds/rods, plantation shutters, woven bamboo shades, roman shade, cellular shades, pleated shades, solar screening etc.. Then I decided what would be my favorite products to use for these types of windows. After a bit of brainstorming, the motorized California Shutters came to life.
