This is Part 5 of my series “My Shutterstory – Everything I wish someone told me during my first shutter purchase,” which started on August 22nd, 2019 (see part 1). Here’s a summary of what happened since then:
I finally got around to installing my own exterior shutters – but it turned out really poorly because I had no understanding of how they work or how big a job it was going to take. As a result, the quality of my job left something to be desired – I ended up having to replace almost every window sill – both inside and outside – including the frames themselves. So, I learned a lot from that experience. But, after getting everything repaired, one question still remained unanswered for me: Would I ever buy another pair of California Shutters again?
Well, as the title says, yes, definitely.
