In this post I am going to be talking specifically about wood shutters and vinyl shutters. I will explain some key differences between the two types along with my personal opinion on which type should work better for your home.
Wood shutters are made primarily with real pine lumber, whereas most vinyl shutters use polyvinylchloride material. Both materials can provide great protection against rainwater but they each have different pros and cons.
