For example i personally love Hunter Douglas products but i am also interested in what the other manufacturers offer. Once you decide what you are wanting try calling several suppliers and see who offers lower prices than everyone else.
After making your decision on which supplier you want to work with just pick one company that supplies most of everything you want in shuttering from the manufacturer. They will then send out a quote on your project size and color options. Most companies charge per square foot price quotes which is understandable since each piece varies slightly based on materials used, thicknesses etc.. But it always pays to ask around and get a couple estimates so you have peace of mind knowing its actually affordable. After getting your final bid check back online again to see reviews and feedback from past customers (i recommend sites like yelp and google). Don’t worry about paying someone until after the job is completed. A lot of times shutters come with warranties that must be paid upfront. If you don’t agree with something pay them the whole amount to resolve the issue instead of arguing for months. Just keep in mind that you cant install yourself so dont expect cheap labor from friends either lol. Once the project is fully complete take pictures of EVERYTHING! Even the walls behind it. Keep those pics somewhere safe so you wont lose them. Also take close ups of every detail including nail holes and screws.
